CHARACTERISTICS

Varieties: Macabeo, Grenache, Xarel·lo and Malvasia de Sitges.

Vineyards: grapes from different areas of the Penedès:

  •  MARINA DEL GARRAF (coast): Macabeo and Malvasia of the Bartra family (Masia la Serra).
  •  FOIX RIVER BASIN (central area): Macabeo and Xarel·lo by Artur Freixedas (Finca Bellestar) and the Colomer family (Heretat del Castellot estate).
  •  COSTERS DEL MONTMELL (mountain): Xarel·lo of the Puig family (Gatalletes estate).

wine cellar: elaboration in own cellar with the following commitment of the Suriol family:

  •  Natural fermentation with the yeasts of the grapes.
  •  Throughout the production process we only add "sulfurous" at doses less than 50mg / l total (ecological maximum allowed of 100mg / l and conventional maximum of 210mg / l).

Raising: 3 months in concrete cups.

Approximate production: 50,000 bottles per year.

Service temperature: 6-8ºC.
